These two are characters from one of my favorite story ideas of all time. The idea for the setting is ancient--I was maybe eleven when I decided I wanted to do an Arabian-nights-themed story XD--but over the years the plot, characters, and stuff like that has changed countless times. This is from the latest, and by far the best incarnation.

The girl is Lissalai Lissobah, the emperor's daughter, and her creepy friend is Azmath Al-Ta'ir, an ifrit. Ifrits are a type of middle-eastern desert demon, though my version is a lot different from the traditional image XD. I'm a sucker for multiple arms, what can I say?

After inking, I was too lazy/tired to shade this, but I think it looks okay anyway. XD Painter for the linework, photoshop for the colors.

Sticky sweet goodness. It looks like a cel or something to me. I know that image is worthy of an animated feature that's for sure. You rock yadda yadda yadda you've heard it all before.

gah...I -luv- your style. But then, we've been over that. Anyway, I don't think it lacks for shading, if for no other reason than because there is a bit here and htere. The red in her cheeks and nose, the duochrome hair and other little things like that.

Fav, now let me try to explain my looove. :)

This is really amazing, the shading less colouring fits this picture perfectly, there must have been no sun where they were. And that tounge... XD
The lineart is good and the colouring too, yoo truly are a great artist!
